The summit of Sugarloaf Mountain is the second highest peak in Maine (4,237 feet). It features 360 degree views of Maine's western mountains and New Hampshire's White Mountains. Skiing and riding is open from mid-November through the end of April and it is not uncommon for spring skiers to ski the top of the loaf and play nine holes on the Robert Trent Jones designed Sugarloaf Golf Course all in the same day!
