Room 206 is located on the second floor of the hotel. The room features a queen size bed and includes an upholstered easy chair with ottoman, antique dresser-mirror combo plus antique wall sconces, an original cast iron steam register and a walk-in closet. Reproduction advertising artwork from the Titanic and New York City adorn the walls. Legend has it that Ms. Banoura Ayoub, a survivor of the Titanic, stayed at the Herbert Grand Hotel in the 1920s or 1930s. Although Ms. Ayoub's exact room number is unknown, such a special guest deserves recognition, as do those persons who were not as lucky as Mr. Ayoub on that fateful cold night in April of 1912. As with all of the rooms at the Herbert Grand Hotel, Room 206 was renovated in 2016 and features free WiFi and a private bathroom. The bathroom features a pedestal sink and a walk-in shower.
